Sally Seston, Director of Retail Category Consultants, will be speaking at the Women in Payments Symposium on September 23, 2014, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., in a session titled Loyalty in the Card Market: Successes and Challenges.
Joining Sally will be Mary Jo Glassco, a loyalty expert also from Retail Category Consultants, and Jackie Shinfield, a Partner in the Financial Services Group of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Together, they will talk about the successes and challenges of loyalty from a consumer engagement, legal, and loyalty provider perspective.
Why should you attend?
As the retail landscape continues to evolve in 2014 and beyond, it is no longer enough to simply have a loyalty program. It is critical to develop a strategy that will encourage consumers to place your card first-in-wallet – whether traditional or digital. Understanding the basics that consumers expect and the “wow” factors that personalize and build loyalty will put you on the path to success.
At the same time, new legislation, such as Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, places restrictions on what merchants, banks, and payment professionals can do within the scope of consumer loyalty.
Join Retail Category Consultants and other noteworthy speakers as we discuss solutions and share our experiences at the Women in Payments Symposium.
