This report describes the various parts of the new icts and how they interact with one another. As presented in Sec. I, the system consists primarily of eight stations, a master control unit, a room-viewing camera, a room-viewing camera control unit, a videotape recorder, and a color TV monitor/ receiver. The nerve center of the iots is the master control unit, which controls the source of the image presented on each of the system’s TV monitors. The illustrated discussion demon strates the power and versatility of this unit in presenting video and audio informa tion to individual students or to groups of students. Detailed instructions on how to use the unit are given in App. A.
