Adc continued to monitor the growth of white pelican populations and the resulting damage the birds cause to aquaculture in the Southeast. During the summer months, adc biologists captured, banded, and radio-collared more than pelicans on their nesting grounds in North Dakota. The pelicans’ movements and migration patterns are now being monitored.
