Excerpt from Carpets, Furniture, Upholstery, House-Furnishing
Our stocks embrace low, medium and high class goods, of both foreign and domestic manufacture, and are unequalled for variety and extent. The large space at our disposal enables us to carry a greater number of grades and a more varied assortment of styles than will be found elsewhere.
We have inserted price lists of staple lines of goods that may at any time be found in our store, accompanied by illustrations showing a few of the articles we consider most desirable under their respective heads; but no attempt has been made to catalogue all the goods in any department. Additions are made to our stocks almost daily, which would render it impossible to do so.
There are always in our employ experienced men whose advice and practical suggestions will be found exceedingly valuable in matters relating to the fitting up of houses or apartments.
Customers out of town will notice that goods sold in the Carpet, Furniture and house-furnishing Departments are sent at t/ze purchaser’s, expense. In the Upholstery Department we pay charges only on curtains.
