The Wenatchee Forest Plan was implemented in 1990 after 10 years of analysis and extensive public review and comment. The plan meets requirements of a Federal Law, The National Forest Management Act of 1976. It provides standards, guidelines, land allocations, and philosophy which serves as the basis for all Forest Service management on the million acre Wenatchee National Forest.
