The Wenatchee Forest Plan was implemented in 1990 after ten years of analysis and extensive public review and comment. The Forest Plan meets requirements of The National Forest Management Act of 1976. It provides standards, guidelines, land allocations, and philosophy which serve as the basis for all Forest Service management on the million acre Wenatchee National Forest.
