Tinker Mouse was one of those visitors. His story really happened to him and me. Because we live in the country, people think that we need lots of dogs and cats so they drop them off at the edge of our property. We also have deer, rabbits, road runners, skunks, possums, and the occasional squirrel come to check us out. I write stories about some of them. Tinker Mouse wasn’t dropped off, he strayed from home. His mother had taught him to stay close to their snug little nest, but he didn’t listen to her. His dangerous adventure included being chased by my cat, who forced Tinker Mouse to find his way inside my house or be eaten. That was where his REAL adventure began!
